The Rugby School Group is now committed to opening Rugby School Japan in September 2023, a year later than planned due to the global impact of the COVID pandemic.
We are delighted to announce that our operating partner in Japan will be Clarence Education Asia. CEA is an international school management company based in Hong Kong and Tokyo, providing industry leading school establishment and operation services for K-13 premium British education, multilingual education, and extracurricular educational programmes.
This will be the Rugby School Group’s second international sister school, following the opening of Rugby School Thailand in 2017, which now provides a Rugby education to 800 day and boarding pupils. Rugby School Japan will have the capacity to educate 750 day and boarding pupils at its striking new campus, located 30 minutes by train from Central Tokyo.
The Admissions Office will open for all enquiries in autumn 2022. Places will be offered to girls and boys of all nationalities seeking entry as day or boarding pupils to Years 7 to 13. More details will be published later this year.
Senior Leadership, teaching and support staff roles will be advertised in spring and summer 2022.
