Rugby school japan
Admissions
How To Apply
We are delighted that you are considering an application for your daughter or son to Rugby School Japan. Applications are being accepted into years 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12.
Places within each year group will be strictly limited each year. The School will accept rolling applications throughout the school year, though early applications are encouraged, and the School reserves the right to close applications to certain year groups once they become full. Waiting lists will then be utilised where year groups are full.

ONLINE APPLICATION PROCEDURE
The formal application process is accessible via the Open Apply portal. Once an application is received, applicants will be assessed in numeracy, literacy, verbal reasoning and other specific subjects as required. All assessments will be conducted in English.
The School will also request a copy of recent report cards, which should cover at least two years preceding the date of application. Consideration will also be given to any formal public examination results, and a confidential reference will also be required and requested directly from the child’s current or last school.
An interview to establish your child’s broader interests and character will also take place to assess their non-academic potential. We are looking for academic ability and potential, co-curricular interests and enthusiasms and the necessary resilience to be part of a boarding school environment – even as a day student.
Parents must fully understand and accept the educational philosophy of the School and its commitment to a holistic and broad boarding and day education.

CORPORATE CONTRIBUTION PROGRAMME
The Corporate Contribution Programme (CCP) is a potentially cost effective and advantageous alternative to paying Enrolment and Tuition fees at an international school. Participation in this programme can reduce the costs of a child’s education by reducing the parent’s tax burden in Japan. Participation also supports the school at no additional expense to the parent.
